Millis MA Dumpster Rentals

The allocated rental period depends on what size dumpster you rented.

10 yard dumpster rental includes up to one week free rental.
15 yard dumpster rental includes up to two weeks free rental.
20 yard dumpster rental includes up to two weeks free rental

After the allocated rental period a fee of $25 per day is assessed. We are flexible with are rental periods when we have inventory available to fill our orders. Please contact the office for more details on your particular situation.

Some items can not go in the dumpster and they include; wet paints, oil/gas/asbestos or anything hazardous.   Yard waste can not be mixed with other types of debris.  Yard waste being leaves, grass, brush, trees, dirt, concrete, asphalt, and rocks. There are surcharges on Mass Waste Ban Items and they include:

Propane tanks $20

All Waste ban items and electronics must be placed on top so we can pull out of the load for recycling.

Yes there is a rear that opens to make loading easy.

All debris is recycled at permitted transfer stations. We use different facilities for different types of debris. Some gently used items are brought back to our garage, unloaded and donated to Big Brother Big Sister, the epilepsy foundation and New Life Home Refurnishing. Please let us know if you have any household items that you would like donated.

Any weight over the allocated weight is billed at $160 per ton prorated to the pound.

There are restrictions for what can be loaded into the dumpster. Some items can not go in the dumpster and they include; wet paints, oil/gas/asbestos or anything hazardous. Yard waste can not be mixed with other types of debris.

A dumpster for cleaning out your house should only contain household junk, construction debris, and other trash debris. No yard waste,dirt, concrete, asphalt or bricks should go into the dumpster.  There are also surcharges on MA waste ban items.

 

It is unlikely the dumpster will do damage. We place all dumpster on wood planks to protect the service from damage.

No one needs to be home for delivery or pickup. As long as we know where the property you would like. It sometimes help to mark the area you would like the dumpster with barrel or use chalk.

Canton offers residents disposal options for their bulk waste, yard waste and hazardous items. Using some of the disposal services offered by the Town of Canton can save space in your dumpster. Yard waste and other types of debris can not be mixed in our dumpster rentals. Utilizing some of disposal options offered by the Town of Canton may help you save time, money and space in your dumpster. For example, Canton Residents can dispose of up to two TV/CRT per year with no additional fee.

Yard Waste Recycling Facility

The Yard Waste Recycling Facility is located at 99 Pine Street. On April 1, 2020 will begin the regular season schedule Monday through Saturday 7:30 am to 4:00pm.The winter hours are Wednesday through Saturday7:30 AM to 4:00PM. Yard waste stickers may be purchased at the Yard Waste Recycling Center on Pine Street or at the Public Works Department Administration Office, which is located at 801 Washington Street on the lower level of the building. The fee for a Yard Waste sticker is $10.

Household Bulk Waste Requirements

Bulk items will be collected curbside.  Please call 800-222-5158 for arrangements 72 hours in advance.

CRT’s can be picked up the last Friday of each month for a fee of $25.00.   Call 800-222-5158 to make arrangements for pick-up. 

You can dispose of your household bulk waste in the dumpsters located at 99 Pine Street.  You can also bring your old CRTS’s to the Yard Waste Recycling Facility.  Each resident is allowed (2) CRT’s per year.

Yard Waste

Yard waste includes:

Dead flowers or plants, Hedge clippings, Tree trimmings or pruning’s 4 inches in diameter or less

Grass,Leaves,Wood chips

Unaccepted Items

None of the following diseased or infected plants or any of the following will be accepted:

Bamboo, Oak, Roots

Invasive plants, Poison ivy, Stumps

Hazardous Waste Day will be held on Saturday, August 22,  2020.
